Lybrido, the future of FSD treatment

In recent years Emotional Brain developed the concept for Lybrido. Different experiments were carried out during the ‘proof of concept’ phase, the results of which were considered promising.

1. Lybrido is the first medicine with both a central and a peripheral effect. In addition, in the development of Lybrido, the existence of sexual inhibition mechanisms has been explicitly taken into consideration.
2. Through its dual action, Lybrido is more effective than conceptual medication for FSD with singular action.
3. Lybrido is safer in principle with less risk of side effects than medication in which testosterone is administered chronically.
4. In contrast to chronic medication, the use of Lybrido is more in line with the woman’s freedom of choice: you take it when you want it.
5. Lybrido is unlikely to cause habituation.

In the coming years Lybrido will be developed into a fully-fledged medice for FSD.
